Design Ops

Across three major initiatives, I led operational changes that improved structure, speed, and clarity in our design org.

Creative workflows were bogged down by scattered intake channels, vague briefs, and bloated tooling. I unified our intake system, automated triage, and cleaned up tool licensing.

We faced growing inconsistency across teams, slow onboarding, and designers drained by repetitive QA cycles. I rebuilt the design playbook and turned QA into a structured, async flow.

The team faced mounting uncertainty: unclear roles, cross-brand confusion, and emotional fatigue. I stepped in as acting co-lead, created an interim structure, mentored junior managers, and rebuilt the team’s operating model.
